About us

Doghouse B&B is located next to our home on 17.5 acres in beautiful Lampasas. We have been serving our community and surrounding areas since 2017.

We have 30+ years working with dogs and we are so grateful to share our passion & experience with our guests.

BOARDING FOR DOGS

Our indoor/outdoor runs for the dogs are large 6x6 ft climate controlled indoor and 8x6 ft covered/shaded outdoor runs. A doggie door allows them to go in and out as they choose. We also have a large covered pavilion that extends off their kennels for shade & play area.

Cot type beds are provided for their sleeping comfort. We have a living room with couches and TV for lounging when not playing outside. We also have a large indoor play area (in addition to the dog lounge) that is used during the winter / rainy season.

Each guest is provided supervised dog park play up to 5 times a day at no additional charge. Dogs go out in groups that are best suited for each other.

DOG BOARDING RATES

1st Dog: $35 per night

2nd Dog in same run: $25 per night

3rd Dog in same run: $20 per night

We provide a discount for extended stay trips (14 days or more)

BOARDING POLICIES

Evaluation Meet & Greet: we like for all new dogs to come by for an evaluation prior to their stay. This provides us and the dog(s) a chance to get to know each other prior to their stay.

Dogs must be at least 4 months old, have all their vaccinations, be house trained, non-pet aggressive, and non-people aggressive for the safety of other dogs and us. They must have been socialized with people and dogs.

Spay/Neuter Policy: all boarding clients over the age of 6 months for small dogs & 1 year for larger breeds must be spayed or neutered.

Vaccinations: dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. All vaccinations must be administered at least 7 days prior to their arrival. We require: Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus) and Bordetella.

Flea/Tick Preventative: dogs must be on flea & heart worm prevention.

Deposit; a 20% deposit is required for all reservations that include a holiday & Spring Break. The deposit will be used towards your total amount due. A 10 day cancellation notice is required prior to first day of boarding. Cancellations without proper notice will result in forfeiture of deposit.
